I began my Marketing career with a spanish-speaking television station. Being bilingual opened doors with many multicultural companies and networks. After years of working in the entertainment industry, I decided to focus in helping others achieve their dreams. From assisting non-profit organizations increase their brand presence, to helping local independent films with their marketing packages and social media approach. I am a very resourceful person, self-motivated and with a strong personality. I am beyond excited to be part of the innovative startup culture.
What skills do you bring to a project team?
I am a team player, always thinking outside the box and looking to exchange ideas. I self-taught design programs such as, Adobe Photoshop and Muse. I have also led classes on how to use different Microsoft office programs. Other skills include: video production and editing with Premiere or Final Cut.
Why did you want to be part of the startup community?
I found myself in a place where I could not advance any more. I realized my traditional marketing skills had led me to amazing opportunities, but those were not enough. Every day we hear about emerging startup companies, their struggles, challenges and hard work. After researching about the rise and impact of entrepreneurship across the world, I was left inspired and knew what I needed to do.
I am looking forward to meeting incredible, talented, like-minded people at Startup Institute.
